(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Badminton team claimed two OCAA medals on Saturday at the OCAA Badminton Provincial Championship hosted by the University of Toronto Mississauga.
Women's Doubles team members Helen Ngu (London, ON) and Han Pham (Danang, Vietnam) finished in first place after round robin play in Women's Doubles with a record of 5-0, upsetting the top three seeds in the process. Rookie Melanie Wade (Calgary, AB) also had a great showing for Fanshawe in the Women's Singles event. She finished with a round robin record of 2-3, good for fourth place.
