Martin Named SupplementSource.ca Female Student-Athlete of the Month

(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today, that Women's Cross Country student-athlete Jessica Martin (Port Elgin, ON) has been named the SupplementSource.ca Fanshawe Female Student-Athlete of the Month for October.

In the Fanshawe Invitational on October 5, Martin finished first overall in the Women's 6km race with a time of 23:15. She led the No. 6 nationally ranked Falcons Women's squad to a second place team finish. At the OCAA Provincial Championships on October 26, Martin captured the OCAA individual silver medal, running the race in an impressive time of 22:46. The Fanshawe Women finished third overall for a team bronze medal and Martin was named to the All-Ontario First Team for her performance.

Martin is enrolled in the Human Resources Management program and will receive a SupplementSource.ca health and wellness package for her accomplishments.
