The OCAA announced the women’s softball league award winners for the 2025-26 season.
(London, Ontario) – The OCAA announced the women's softball league award winners for the 2025-26 season.
First-year player Jasmine Seager (Burlington, ON) burst onto the scene as a star for the Falcons squad, with the utility player carrying one of the best bats in the entire OCAA. She finished the regular season second in the OCAA in hits (31), second in on-base percentage (.548), and fourth in batting average (.484). A consistent force in the Fanshawe batting order, she recorded nine multi-hit games during the season. Seager's phenomenal play could not be ignored, as she was honoured as the OCAA Women's Softball Rookie of the Year, headlining the OCAA Softball All-Rookie Team. She was also named an OCAA Second Team All-Star, an incredible feat for a first-year player.
Joining Seager on the OCAA Second Team All-Star list was pitcher and utility player Kyle Dalrymple (Exeter, ON). In 56 plate appearances, Dalrymple collected 15 hits and 11 RBIs, but it was on the mound where she truly earned her honours. Dalrymple was a workhorse for the Falcons, finishing the regular season ranked third in the OCAA in appearances (13), second in starts (9), second in wins (7), third in innings pitched (70), and third in strikeouts (65). She also carried a 5.30 ERA (15th in the OCAA). Dalrymple, an All-Rookie Team member last season, showcased her growth and ability again in 2025.
