Cromwell Named OCAA Women’s Top Rookie

(London, Ontario) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) has announced the 2025-2026 golf awards. 

Fanshawe's Kailey Cromwell (Brantford, ON) was named the OCAA women's Top Rookie for the 2025-2026 season. Cromwell lived on the leaderboard this season, consistently finishing strong in tournaments.

St. Clair Invitational – Sept. 13-14:

• 6^th place individual finish
  • 82, 91 (173)
• 4^th place team finish

Niagara Invitational – Sept. 19:

• 7^th place individual finish
  • 92
• 3^rd place team finish

Durham Invitational – Sept. 22:

• 3^rd place individual finish
  • 41
• 3^rd place team finish

OCAA Championships – Sept. 28 – Oct. 1:

• 7^th place individual finish
  • 91, 91, 91 (273)
• 4^th place team finish

With the OCAA Top Rookie awards being introduced in the 2024-2025 season, Cromwell becomes the first Falcon and second woman to earn the honours.
