Ennis Named to OCAA All-Rookie Team

(London, ON) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) has announced the 2024-25 Men's Basketball league awards, with Fanshawe first-year standout Da'Marion Ennis (Windsor, ON) earning recognition.

Ennis has been named to the OCAA West Division All-Rookie Team following an outstanding debut season. He appeared in 14 games for the Falcons, averaging a double-double with 12.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Despite being listed as a guard, he emerged as one of the OCAA's top rebounders, ranking third in the entire association in rebounds per game. His rare combination of physicality and determination inside, paired with the ability to handle the ball, made him a nightmare for opposing defenses.

Ennis and the Falcons (5-13, 8^th West) wrapped up their season on Saturday, February 15, falling by a score of 92-70 to No. 8 nationally ranked Durham (18-1, 1^st East) in their OCAA first round playoff game. Ennis led the team with 14 points and 12 rebounds in the contest.
