Falcons Win First Game of the Season
The Falcons men's basketball team (1-2) took on Canadore (0-2) at Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre on Sunday, October 26th, taking down the visiting Panthers by a score of 99-76.

It was a fast start for the road team as Canadore outscored Fanshawe 24-15 in the opening frame. The Falcons settled down and dominated the second quarter, outscoring Canadore 30-12 to take the lead 45-36 into the half. Josh Lawrence (London, ON) and Amon Walker (Toronto, ON) put on a show in the second quarter, pushing the pace and attacking the rim on the fast break frequently.
The second half was all about second-year guard Da'Marion Ennis (Windsor, ON) who caught fire from beyond the arc. After being held scoreless in the first half, Ennis exploded for 23 points on a perfect 4/4 from three and an efficient 9/12 from the field. While Ennis led the way, the Falcons received contributions throughout the lineup as six players finished in double figures. Fanshawe cruised to a 99-76 win after outscoring Canadore in both the third and fourth quarters.
Fanshawe's men's team will be in for a tough test in their next matchup against the Humber Hawks (1-0) who will be visiting the Glenn Johnston Athletic Centre on November 1st at 3:00 p.m. for a battle of the birds.
