Fanshawe Men’s Soccer Honoured with OCAA League Awards
(London, Ontario) – The Fanshawe Falcons Men's Soccer team was honoured for their accomplishments this season as the OCAA handed out their 2022 league awards.
Fanshawe striker Mike Sneddon (Mount Brydges, ON) was named a First Team All-Star, leading the team in goals scored with 13 goals in nine games, also good for second in the OCAA. Teammate Ryan Baker (Strathroy, ON) was named a First Team All-Star, as the fifth-year captain led the Fanshawe squad in the assists category. First year centre-back Colin Elvie (Vittoria, ON) was also named an OCAA First Team All-Star for his stellar defensive play throughout the season.
The Falcons (9-2-1, 3rd West) will face host Humber (11-0, 1st West) in an OCAA Semi-Final match on Friday, October 28 at 12:00 p.m. Tournament information and live stream can be found at www.ocaa.com/msoc.
