OCAA Announces 2025-26 Varsity Soccer Schedules

(London, ON) – The Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) officially announced the schedules for the men’s and women’s varsity soccer seasons.

(London, ON) – The Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA) officially announced the schedules for the men's and women's varsity soccer seasons.

Fanshawe College will open the season at home on September 6, hosting Conestoga College. The women's match will kick off at 12:00 p.m., followed by the men's match at 2:15 p.m.

The Falcons men's team, coming off a strong 2024-2025 campaign with a 7-3 record and a quarter-final appearance, aims to make a deeper playoff run this season. Fanshawe's roster will see the return of three OCAA West Division First Team All-Stars from 2024-2025, including the team's leading goal scorer Jakob Bancewicz (6 goals, 2 assists), leading playmaker Dante D'Oria (3 goals, 3 assists), and goalkeeper Dylan DaSilva (4 clean sheets).

The Falcons women's team finished their 2024-2025 season with a 3-7 record and will look to improve upon that mark with a more experienced lineup that will feature seven returning players. Fanshawe's offence will receive a boost from Niagara College transfer and St. Thomas native Lily Ryder, who netted three goals for the Knights last season.
