Wright Named SupplementSource.ca Female Student-Athlete of the Month

(London, Ontario) – Fanshawe Athletics announced today, that Women's Basketball student-athlete Mikhaila Wright (London, ON) has been named the SupplementSource.ca Fanshawe Female Student-Athlete of the Month for January.

During the month of January, Wright led the No. 4 nationally ranked Falcons to a 4-0 record. In the four victories, she averaged 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.3 steals. In Fanshawe's win over first-place Humber on January 25, Wright went off for 31 points on 50% shooting from the field. During this game, the fifth-year shooting guard also reached the milestone of 1000 career OCAA points, the first Falcons Women's Basketball player to ever accomplish this incredible feat. Wright was also named an OCAA Star of the Week on January 28 and is currently the Fanshawe Women's Basketball all-time scoring leader.

Wright is enrolled in the Tourism and Travel Studies program and will receive a SupplementSource.ca health and wellness package for her accomplishments.
