King Named OCAA Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week

King, a first-year striker, booted not one but two goals in Fanshawe's all important 3-0 win over the St. Clair Saints on Oct. 7 to clinch first place in the West Division. For King, it was her first OCAA multi-goal game, finishing the regular season with four goals in four matches. It also avenged Fanshawe's only non-victory of the season, a 1-1 tie at St. Clair back on Sept. 17. For Fanshawe, it marks a sixth consecutive divisional championship. The Falcons are now idle as they await their opponent for a quarter-final match scheduled for Oct. 23.
