(London, Ontario) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced the women's soccer league award winners for the 2025-26 season, with two newcomers to Fanshawe's women's team making their mark on the Falcons lineup this year.
Lily Ryder (St. Thomas, ON), a third-year transfer from Niagara College, was the offensive engine at striker for Fanshawe, leading the team in both goals (3) and assists (2). Her dynamic play earned her OCAA West Division First Team All-Star honours for the second consecutive season. Ryder was previously named an OCAA West Division Second Team All-Star in 2023.
Miriam Wambulwa (Niagara Falls, ON), who was Fanshawe's women's indoor soccer Rookie of the Year last season, was another key addition to the 2025-26 outdoor roster. Her three goals from the midfield tied for the team lead and helped her earn a spot on the OCAA West Division Second All-Star Team.
