(London, Ontario) – The Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) announced the women's volleyball league award winners for the 2025–26 season.
Fourth-year outside hitter Grace McLean (Dorchester, ON) was named to the OCAA Second All-Star Team, marking the first All-Star selection of her career. McLean, who has been a steady piece of the Falcons' attack throughout her four seasons, finished second on the team in both points (157.5) and kills (118). This marked the third time in her career that McLean eclipsed the century mark in kills. On the defensive end, she led the Falcons in digs with 143, averaging a career-high 2.65 digs per set. McLean was also among the OCAA's elite servers, finishing ninth in the OCAA in service aces per set and fourth in total service aces with 29.
Also earning OCAA Second Team All-Star honours was second-year middle Jillian Lancaster (London, ON), who emerged as one of the premier net presences in the OCAA this season. Inserted into the starting lineup, Lancaster thrived, leading the Falcons in points (161.5) and finishing third on the team in kills (113). Her biggest impact came defensively at the net, where she ranked third in the OCAA in both total blocks (35 solo, five assisted) and blocks per set (0.71). With these All-Star selections, it marks the first time since the 2019–20 season that the Falcons women's volleyball program has had an All-Star selection.
Falcons rookie setter Simone Pinsonneault (Gravelbourg, SK) was named to the OCAA All-Rookie Team, marking the second consecutive season that a Fanshawe women's volleyball player has earned All-Rookie recognition. Pinsonneault served as the orchestrator of the Falcons' offence, leading the team and ranking sixth in the OCAA with 423 assists. Her average of 7.17 assists per set ranked tenth in the OCAA.
Joining Pinsonneault on the OCAA All-Rookie Team was rookie outside hitter Autumn Mikel (Mitchell, ON), following an impressive debut season. Mikel proved to be a strong complement on the outside, leading the Falcons in kills (124) and finishing third on the team in points (143.5), both impressive feats for a rookie player on a strong attacking team.
